For the second holiday season, Honey & Wax Booksellers will bring independent Brooklyn bookshops and antiquarian booksellers to fill Park Slope’s Old Stone House with rare, vintage, and out-of-print books in a celebration of the borough’s rich history of printing, reading and writing. According to Brooklyn Eagle, the event will take place on Dec. 7 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Building on the success of last December’s inaugural fair featuring Pete Hamill, this year’s event includes an expanded range of local booksellers, from general-interest open shops to specialized private dealers, and will conclude with a public reading by Brooklynite Paul Auster of his Brooklyn holiday classic, “Auggie Wren’s Christmas Story.” The reading will begin at 4 p.m.

2013 participants include Brooklyn Books, Enchanted Books, Freebird Books, Honey & Wax Booksellers, Joe Maynard, Open Air Modern, P.S. Bookshop, Singularity & Co., Terrace Books, Tom Davidson and Unnameable Books.

The Old Stone House is located at 336 Third Street between 4th and 5th Avenues in Park Slope.
