Local resident shares story in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Here Comes the Bride

It’s wedding season! Whether or not you’re involved in any celebrations this summer, you might want to pick up Chicken Soup for the Soul: Here Comes the Bride for some inspirational stories about the joys and dramas of being a bride (or friend of the bride). This recently published Chicken Soup for the Soul collection features Brooklyn resident Wendy Toth, whose light-hearted account “How Bad Skin Made Me a Better Maid of Honor” offers a unique twist on the maid-of-honor stress-stories we’re accustomed to hearing about.

Toth lives in Brooklyn with her boyfriend and two cats. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Press, and Newsday.
