Tomorrow kick’s-off this month’s Silent Reading Party NYC, and they’re keeping it fresh for the new season: new spring evening, new venue. Head to Soda Bar in Prospect Heights tomorrow night to join in on Silent Reading NYC.

The once-monthly event, organized by Brooklynite Jamie Burns, is a great quiet night out: books, booze, and a cool space on a quiet springtime weeknight. It is everything you’ll ever need for the ultimate shared reading experience: the back room is totally private for the event- fully equipped with comfy couches and chairs, and for ultimate relaxation, cellist Alexandra Moiseeva will be performing live.

But the event is not only meant to offer a quiet reading space in the busy bustling of this fine Brooklyn borough. Silent Reading Party is also meant to connect bookworms from all over Brooklyn – to promote literary discussion and education. Allocated reading time is set between 7 & 9:30pm, with the last half hour built-in as time to chat.

Best of all? It’s totally free to attend! So wrap your fingers tightly around your favorite story, put on your geekiest reading glasses, and head to Brooklyn’s own Soda Bar tomorrow, May 21st at 7 p.m!

For more information, or to RSVP, check out the Silent Reading NYC Events. You should also follow the Silent Reading Twitter & Facebook for some daily vibrant literary discussion. Hope to see you all there!
