If you missed Karen Thompson Walker in Fort Greene and Cobble Hill, you can still catch her next week! Returning to New York from her eight-city tour, Thompson Walker will appear in Brooklyn on Tuesday to promote her new book, The Age of Miracles. KTW will discuss her novel with writer Hannah Tinti at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at the powerHouse Arena, located at 37 Main St. in DUMBO.
KTW will appear in Manhattan the following day, August 1, at 12:30 p.m. at the Bryant Park Reading Room (located at 11 W. 42nd St., between 5th and 6th Avenues).

On the evening of August 1, head to BookCourt in Cobble Hill for a chance to meet Brooklyn-based author Kurt Andersen. Andersen is returning from a California book tour promoting his new novel True Believers. He will be doing a reading, Q&A, and book-signing at BookCourt, located at 163 Court Street. The event takes place at 7 p.m.
