Events Non-fiction Tomorrow night at Greenlight: Food Network star Ted Allen talks with Gabrielle Langholtz of Edible Brooklyn August 1, 2012 BrooklynBookBeat Ted Allen, Fort Greene resident foodie (who also happens to host Food Network’s hit show Chopped) will be appearing at Greenlight Bookstore tomorrow, August 2, in conversation with Gabrielle Langholtz, food writer and editor of Edible Brooklyn. Allen, who has just come out with new cookbook In My Kitchen: 100 Recipes and Discoveries for Passionate Cooks, will discuss with Langholtz some of his favorite recipes and cooking traditions. The discussion will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a cocktail tasting at Fort Greene’s Greene Grape Spirits. Greenlight Book Store is located at 686 Fulton Street in Fort Greene.
