The sign of a good children’s book is one that kids want to read again and again, and that parents don’t mind reading again and again.
If you’ve read Dragons Love Tacos to your kids more times than you can count, you may be able to give it a rest for a while. Get ready to laugh along with High Five (Dial; on sale April 16, 2019), the latest collaboration from author Adam Rubin, and illustrator Daniel Salmieri — the team who brought you Dragons Love Tacos and Dragons Love Tacos 2.
The story centers around a high five champion who is preparing for the annual competition to see who is the best hand slapper around. Young readers, ages 3 – 5 will enjoy the silly antics of the all-animal cast. And they will love the feel of the textured pages as they follow the hilarious prompts to try out their own high five skills with the book.
Who will be the High Five champion? You’ll have to finish the book to find out!
